Security Bond ($2000)
A security bond is a refundable deposit paid by a customer when renting a vehicle or equipment to cover potential damages or unpaid charges. This bond is returned to the customer at the end of the rental period, provided the rented item is returned in good condition and all terms of the rental agreement are met.
Milage limits
The number of miles a customer can drive a rented vehicle within a specified period. If the customer exceeds this limit, they are typically charged an additional fee per mile over the allowed mileage. Unlimited for all bikes except for Harley Davidson models (200km/day).
Rental rate
Motorbike rental rates vary by model and duration, with bikes starting at $125 per day and luxury bikes up to $1000 per day, plus weekly options. Additional costs may include insurance, mileage overages, and accessories.
Darwin Airport pickup
Complimentary airport pickup services involve a representative meeting customers at the airport, assisting with their luggage, and providing transportation to the rental location or delivering the rental vehicle directly at the airport. This added convenience is provided at no extra cost to enhance customer satisfaction.
Trailer hire
Trailer hire for transporting dirt, unregistered bikes for off-road use is available to ensure safe and secure transport. For other uses, trailers can be rented at a rate of $50 per day.
Towing
Towing services are available at a rate of $100 per hour, providing reliable and efficient transport for vehicles or equipment. This service ensures safe and timely assistance for various towing needs.
Young rider surcharge
A young rider surcharge of $20 per day applies to renters under 25yrs of age. This additional fee covers the increased risk associated with younger, less experienced riders.
Goods & Services Tax (GST)
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a value-added tax of 10% applied to most goods and services, including rentals. This tax is added to the base rental rates, and customers will see it included in their final invoice.
Fees
Early/Late Fees
It is not refundable to return the bike earlier than the agreed rental period. Late return fees apply if the vehicle is returned outside the agreed rental period. A charge of $20 per additional hour will be taken out of the security bond until the bike is returned. This fee ensures availability and scheduling are maintained.
Cleaning Fees - $50 if applicable
A cleaning fee is charged if the vehicle is returned in a condition that requires extra cleaning. This fee covers the cost of additional cleaning services to prepare the vehicle for the next customer.
Delivery/Collection Fees - $100/hr
Delivery and collection fees apply when the rental vehicle is delivered to or collected from a specified location. This service provides added convenience for customers who need the vehicle brought to them or picked up from a different location.
Fine/Infringement Fees - (Fine + Administration Fee)
Fine and infringement fees are charged for any traffic violations or parking fines incurred during the rental period. These fees cover the cost of any penalties issued to the rental company. Administration fees of $20 are to process any bills or fines that may be received during the rental period.
One Way Fees - (Transit + Daily Hire Rates + Administration Fee)
One way fees apply when the vehicle is picked up at one location and returned to a different one. This fee covers the logistical costs associated with returning the vehicle to its original location.
Refueling Fees - $20
Refueling fees are charged if the vehicle is returned with less fuel than when it was rented. This fee covers the cost of refueling the vehicle and may include an additional service charge.
Toll Fees - $30 per Toll Fee
Toll fees are charged for using toll roads during the rental period. These fees are either paid by the customer directly or billed to the customer if the rental company is billed for toll usage.
Mileage Limit Fees - $20 per 50km
Mileage limit fees are incurred if the customer exceeds the mileage cap specified in the rental agreement. This fee covers the additional wear and tear on the vehicle.
Breakdown/Repair Fees - $100/hr
Breakdown and repair fees may apply if the vehicle requires towing or repair due to misuse or neglect by the customer. These fees cover the cost of restoring the vehicle to a rentable condition.
Replacement GPS/VMS Fees - $400 per unit
Replacement fees for GPS or Vehicle Monitoring Systems (VMS) are charged if these devices are lost or damaged during the rental period. This fee covers the cost of replacing the equipment.
Administration Fees - Vary
Any fees that require administrative attention on the customers behalf to process.
